St Matthew’s Church children of seven years and above are welcome to prepare
for, and receive, their First
Holy Communion. This
year preparation sessions will happen on Tuesdays after school. Pick
up a flyer at school or in church for further details. First Communion day will
be Easter Day – 8th
April 9.30am Sunday 18th
March 9.30am You might be in for a surprise… Hall is available to be hired for a variety of events. Kitchen,

Wednesday 21st February This
special day marks the beginning of the 40 days of preparation for the
celebrations of Easter. Join us at
either of the following acts of worship which both include the moving
ceremony of ‘ashing’. 10am A simple,
said celebration of the Eucharist. 7.30pm Our main
Eucharist of the day with choir, hymns and sermon. Eat
chocolate…think chocolate…sleep chocolate…? If so, why
not get ready for Easter by joining us for our Lent course? Using the
hit film Chocolat as our
starting point we will explore issues about the world, God and what it
means to be human. All welcome! Wednesdays in Lent, starting on 28th February, 7.30pm @ 10 Coombe Gardens. For further
