Charities - This year we are supporting:
The Faith in Action Merton Homelessness Project, a drop-in service for people living on the streets in the local area. It provides practical facilities, hot food, help and advice.
The Children's Society, a charity working with young refugees, children living on the streets or in trouble with the law and children with disabilities.
Three projects run by the United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel:
Firm Foundations: Teaching rural communities in Chile to build safe and affordable homes.
Access to Education: Ensuring good education for the next generation in Lesotho, Tanzania and Madagascar.
Life on the Edge: Enabling churches in India, Pakistan and Myanmar (formerly Burma) to support the poor and marginalised.
